2.2″ wide, this cutwork trim is made of metallic gold thread satin stitched onto non-metallic gold satin. It has a fusible iron-on backing that makes placement very easy. The glue feels quite sturdy when ironed on, but you should not rely on the glue alone to keep the trim in place if you are going to wash or dry clean the garment. I found that stitching down the points kept it all in place through machine washing. The trim held up beautifully.
It curves really nicely around a skirt hem or cloak edge, but I wouldn’t try to ask it to do tight curves.
This trim comes to me in 6 yd pieces. Since I really don’t want to cut into those unless I have to, I’m giving you a price break for buying the whole 6 yds.
Comes in gold only. Ok – I can GET it in silver, but I didn’t 🙂 Write me if you need it in silver.
