16th Century necklace (Carcanet) with amethyst colored stones and faux pearls in antique gold settings, alternating with jet glass faceted stones. It closes at the back with an adjustable lobster clasp, (adjustable by approximately 2″) allowing you to wear it at different lengths with different clothing, and fine-tune the fit.

These Carcanets are high-end costume jewelry and do not contain real gemstones or precious metals. They have a very solid feel and a lovely visual weight to them. The settings are gold-plated zinc alloy, set with rhinestones and glass pearls, and are strung between glass pearls and other gold-plated and rhinestone findings . All findings are gold or silver-plated as well, unless otherwise stated.
