1.45″ wide, this metallic cutwork trim has a fusible iron-on backing that makes placement very easy. The glue feels quite sturdy when ironed on, but you should not rely on the glue alone to keep the trim in place if you are going to wash or dry clean the garment. I found that stitching down the points kept it all in place through machine washing. The trim held up beautifully.
It’s pretty amazing; it looks as if it has been embroidered directly onto the fabric. It curves really nicely around a skirt hem or cloak edge.
This trim comes to me in 6 yd pieces. Since I really don’t want to cut into those unless I have to, I’m giving you a price break for buying the whole 6 yds.
