1.5″ wide, this fabulous laurel leaf cutwork trim is made of metallic gold thread satin stitched onto non-metallic gold satin. It has a fusible iron-on backing that makes placement very easy. The glue feels quite sturdy when ironed on, but you should not rely on the glue alone to keep the trim in place if you are going to wash or dry clean the garment. I found that stitching down the points kept it all in place through machine washing. The trim held up beautifully.
This is just like the other laurel trim I have, but without the border, making it curve around circular edges beautifully!
This trim comes to me in 6 yd pieces. Since I really don’t want to cut into those unless I have to, I’m giving you a price break for buying the whole 6 yds.
