Solid metal shank style garment buttons in two sizes (5/8″ and 7/8″) with the symbol of the Order of Defense embossed into them in black. Antique gold, Antique silver, or antique copper finish. They are thin but sturdy and easy to button. Their flat shape will keep garments closed without allowing them to pop open.
For doublets, usually 14 large or 20 small are sufficient, and for pants 5 to 7 of the large ones.
I designed these and had them manufactured for my friends in the SCA, because you can get laurel wreaths on everything and I wanted my MOD friends to have some of their own bling.
