Solid metal pendant style medallions with the symbol for the Order of defense embossed onto them. Antique pewter or bronze finish, in a three possible color choices, or just the plain metal. They are very sturdy and able to be worn into combat. They are nicely detailed, with the feel of a commemorative coin or military medal.
I designed these to resemble pre 17th century military medals, specifically the symbols of the Knights of Malta and the Order of St Michael. The final design has been approved by the Laurel King of Arms. The words surrounding the three rapiers say “Ordo Defensionis” which is Latin for “Order of Defense.”
I designed these and had them manufactured for my friends in the SCA, and I am very proud to offer them. You can’t get them anywhere else.
You can add a white satin ribbon to the medallion for $5.
